AI is concentrating, in a few countries, a few companies, a few chips.
Open-source AI is the only real check on that. And it only works if the infrastructure to run it actually exists.
Today, we're announcing our Series A, $20 M, to make this a reality.
I absolutely love the fact that there's a command palette which you can fire up with '/', letting you search the site and the docs.
And there's so many fun things to discover!
i've spent the last six months building the most insane thing in my career: a new PostHog website. and in about 12 hours, i'm going to push it live.
but it's not just a redesign - it's like an operating system in the browser. the level of detail is insane. no normal company would actually let this get built - let alone be championed by the CEO.
and it's so far "out there" that i'm actually a little nervous. will it tank signups? will people be confused because it doesn't look like a website? will it be performant? will the novelty wear off too fast?
tomorrow is the day we find out.
i'd say i'll be up all night stressing about it, but after 3 straight days of 14+ hours of work, my eyes are bleeding and i actually think i'll sleep like a baby. 😅
now if you'll excuse me, i've got a laundry list of bugs to squash.
Mm... the playwright docs are so overwhelming... I have to open like twenty pages to put together what I need to build. 🧐
So I made a CHEATSHEET. 🙂
- most commonly used commands
- useful snippets to copy
- SEARCH
Here you go. Enjoy! ✨

Quietly launched @ui_licious TAMI Studio on @Peerlist without really thinking too much about it... and somehow we got so many votes in the community 1 day after launch to be featured as a Staff Picked Project? 😄
Guess it was worth it putting all that time and effort to making the app super polished. We overran our Private Beta timeline from 4 months to 8 months. 😅😅😅
I know people are always telling me "Hey, you've got the MVP already, why aren't you launching yet?"
Yes, sorry, hi... I'm a perfectionist... I mean... I run a company to makes Quality Assurance tools - does that make sense to you?
But it's worth it when people are blown away.
With so many vibe-coded apps these days, I think first impressions count.

Speaking of @Peerlist , we decided to launch here instead of ProductHunt this time round just to test the waters.
I'm quite pleasantly surprised by how much consideration there is to prevent makers from trying to game the system, here's some things I like about PeerList:
1) Everyone launches on the same day of the week- Monday. It doesn't matter which day you submit your product, everyone gets launched on the same day the next week, and the list is frozen.
2) The listing order is randomized by default, instead of ranked. This fixes the problem of people only checking out the top ranked products, instead of scrolling further down to discover niche products.
3) Identity verification - there's an optional identification feature, powered by Stripe Identity, to make sure that you're a real person (like LinkedIn), instead of some bot or fake throwaway account.
I think they've addressed a lot of the issues that ProductHunt has (also it's really neat that if you connect to your PH account, it automatically pulls and fills your profile page with your past launches on PH).
And it really seems like they're making a good effort towards their goal of building LinkedIn for the maker / dev community.

Sometimes when I get on a screensharing call with a user, it immediately reveals their age when they open NotePad++.
Either that, or the bureaucracy in the IT department that doesn't let them install VSCode or something more modern.
Not that I have anything against NotePad++!
So much work went into this!
3 months → idea to first prototype
3 months → prototype to MVP
8 months → Private Beta for business customers (made lots of quality of life improvements)
1 month → docs and guides
Now, we're finally live with TAMI Studio. 😆

⭐The Year of Inference is here.
Featherless is now an official inference provider on Hugging Face, unlocking 6,700+ LLMs for anyone to run, eval, and deploy instantly.
It all starts with accessibility.
From DeepSeek to Mistral, LLaMA to Qwen — powerful LLMs are one click away.
We believe the future of AI is shaped by the long tail: personalized, specialized models tuned to real people’s needs. To get there, inference must be open, affordable, and usable by all.
Whether you're fine-tuning, prototyping, or scaling a product, this moment is for you.
🫱🏻🫲🏻Let’s make inference the easiest part of building with AI.
📢 Share this so more builders know what’s now possible.
Excited to be partnering with @ClementDelangue@julien_c@reach_vb@SimonBrandeis & @huggingface team to take this to the next level!
Today, Featherless became the largest LLM inference provider on Hugging Face.
6,700+ models. Zero GPU config. One platform.
Very excited for what's ahead!
What a month to start with @aiDotEngineer
🏆 Featherless Action R1—the world’s most reliable agent that runs daily tasks like Amazon, LinkedIn, DoorDash, Uber, and more—was voted crowd’s favorite!
Thank you all, @swyx and team.

I wonder when AI companies will start selling your data to advertisers and embedding ads in their chat messages for users on the free tier...
Or is it already happening and I'm just not aware yet.
🤔
A few folks have asked, how does the action-R1 agent we built at @FeatherlessAI in collaboration with @ui_licious look like?
Here is a recording demo, of a task, with slight speed up

Things are not looking good for career starters
Artificial intelligence is increasingly threatening the traditional entry-level jobs that have formed the basis of many young people's careers to date.

You know fixing the same broken automation script over and over again is?
Insanity. 🤪
It is common for me to meet teams that have completely abandoned RPA projects and UI test automation efforts because maintenance overhead became too much work.

We're working on building TAMI : Auto-Pilot mode, an agent for exploratory testing to help QA teams:
🖥️ Identify features
🧐 Discover edge cases
🧪 Design test scenarios
Because exploratory testing is still a completely manual, tedious, and boring process today.
And it is a barrier to the UI test automation journey. As many teams, especially small teams, are overwhelmed just trying to figure out the numerous edge cases and paths to consider.
