so ive been waiting for like weeks for my housing officer to approve something trivial and gemini confirms that they probably don't work there anymore since HousingFirst is advertising for staff, specifically housing officers as of December.

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

i have a vivid memory of going to a GP in my 20s because of a bad breakup. the cock sucker gave me a trial pack of effexor, writing shit with his Wyeth pen and put me on that soul blunting trash without any warning whatsoever.

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

im glad it told me that these kittens are sick and disgusting because, i too, was sucked into that cuteness hijack where you overlook the suffering of an animal because its adorable

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

someone i know is a cat hoarder. she has at least 30 and they're all breeding. because gemini now can watch video, i sent a clip of a friendly kitten to guess the age. and its like "this kitten is lethargic, malnourished, has infected eyes and is underweight. do something 😊"

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

im a participant in a state funded program designed to fill the "missing middle" and assisting clients with ndis access is a key outcome. so being told by caseworker that I have to give 2k of taxpayer money to an OT for an assessment makes my blood boil. total rort.

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

walking home with someone, we admired some nice flowers - she breaks off two of them. this is an otherwise nice person and i struggle to understand that selfishness

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

i thought that all this water would drip through the walls and floor. in reality, my concrete slab has absorbed a swimming pool worth of water and is probably spawning mold forever now

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

this flex broke. like every room in my (admittedly tiny) apartment is drenched. like down to the concrete slab lol

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

yeah so, you ever come home at 4 in the morning and your bathroom has flooded?

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

its so bleak. like this guy is in his 50s and that's his life. just consumed by gig capitalism, owns nothing, not even a real employee, just used up and spat out and framed as though they're grinding.

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

this guy works as gig driver. he seems to live out of his vehicle as well. he begs for car payments and his cell phone and things like that. And he's also paying some sort of platform fee to get his timetable. So he's paying money just to work for an app and live inside his job

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

i hate the concept of tiny homes, of pod homes, of manufactured homes - these are are like giving a toothless person dentures instead of implants and acting like you've fixed their situation

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

but it's kind of like to even quality for public housing, you have to already be an adult who treats carpet like toilet paper

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

I've visited only a handful of actual public housing units, and maybe it's just the company i keep, but every single one has trashed carpets - like entire rooms have ashtray carpets with no shame or care

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

I keep having days where it feels like i am a different person from hour to hour, nothing feels real, i cant plan anything because nothing means anything and i wont care in 3 hours.

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

guy came today all friendly like, but they took photos of a thermometer in my tapwater to show its hot now. apparently i needed to run my hot water for over ten minutes to flush it. like, fuck off. it wasn't working, very transparent attempt to make me out to be crazy

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

i just feel like pink slime with eyes

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

the carpet used to be a different colour ten years ago

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

the vacuum cleaner got snatched up by someone lol they made the little girls use a dustpan and broom which was kinda cute because they worked as a team

[steven @takeiteasy00000]

ngl it really grossed me out seeing the wealthier volunteers show up with their cars and families to grab defunct store supplies like cleaner and tools and our furniture. they raided everything useful, like even spare bulbs 😂
