Wow, disturbing replies on 'What was the worst thing a mental health professional has said to you?'
To lighten the mood, what is the BEST thing a mental health professional has said to you?
A psychologist said to me that it wasn't my fault for what I did when I was psychotic.
If you had two minutes to explain a psychological topic / phenomenon to a non-psychologist - something that might leave them thinking "Huh, I never knew that… interesting and useful" - what would it be?
Can’t believe it’s our turn to be on the other side of a careers session panel @silvia__gini@farahin_fahmy! Amazing hearing everyone’s contributions to the psych field since graduation.
Huge thank you to @IoEPsychEdu@ucl for all the opportunities & support since undergrad!

Absolutely knackered but really enjoyed all the collaborative learning this week. Feeling good about going into training with such a supportive cohort. Looking forward to next week!

It's the grounds for developing a strong, warm, and effective therapeutic relationship with your clients.
I've found it's also incredibly difficult to embody as a beginner therapist.
Let's chat about that
