Another historic residence destroyed by israel in Nabatieh, South Lebanon. The home of Dr. Bahjat al Mirza, built in 1932, was a traditional Jabal Amel limestone heritage home
For the first time since the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967, Israeli forces prevented Eid al-Fitr prayers from being held at Al-Aqsa Mosque. Police and soldiers blocked worshippers from reaching the site, firing stun grenades and tear gas to disperse crowds, forcing Palestinians to pray in the surrounding streets.
The mosque has remained closed since the start of the US-Israeli aggression against Iran on February 28, with authorities citing the prevention of gatherings as a pretext.
A short while ago, Israeli forces fired two artillery shells at the camp of the Ghanaian battalion of the UN peacekeeping forces (#UNIFIL) in Qawzah, Bint Jbeil district, southern Lebanon, causing a fire inside the camp and injuring several soldiers.
This is not the first time Israel has targeted UNIFIL forces. During the sixty-day war in Lebanon in 2024, two soldiers were injured when an Israeli tank fired a shell at a watchtower.

The shelters are full. People are sleeping on the streets. Cars can barely move. Basic services aren’t accessible.
The entire state is under attack by Israel.

During one of his many detentions, he was suspended from the ceiling with chains, tortured via electric shock, and raped.

Sodeco Square is where I used to see my obstetrician when I was pregnant with Ethan. I used to walk home &stop at a cute cafe on the way.
For those who don't know #Beirut, I cannot emphasise enough that Israel is not targeting "strongholds" but civilian neighbourhoods.
