since March 2 Israel has killed almost 3500 people, probably as many resistance fighters, maimed 10,000+, erased a dozen towns from existence, occupied almost 50, and displaced 1.2 million people, but hey “strategically” it’s losing -> do you realize how you sound like?

- occupation of S Lebanon was a quagmire in 1982-2000, gave rise to Hezbollah

- Lebanon army not fighting

also the Central Bank spent 500 m dollars in March/April propping up the Lebanese Lira during the height of the fighting, a calamitous exercise, should the CB do that again soon the Lira is bound to collapse further by the end of the year while there's no rescue in sight
