5/ 5 - Universities that build digital capabilities will have the resilience to seamlessly pivot through any crisis, be it Covid-19 or any outbreak and would continue to stay relevant in the future.

Current EdTech for Educators is broken. A teacher planning to go online has to hop on from one platform to the other for online classes, courses, exams, proctoring, etc. Can there be a single dashboard for entire online delivery?

5- Not just admissions and recruiting team but the entire university, including all faculty, could have played a prominent role in engaging more constructively with kids and clearing the air about uncertainty ahead. It's still not late to walk that path.
4- The biggest failure for universities has been in addressing the uncertain future of on campus education and jobs. That ambiguity and helplessness of universities has sure put a dent on their credibility resulting in loss of students' faith.
3- Also it's an eye opener for most universities how their faculty are not a great pull / value for buck and would loose competition to someone more popular on Coursera, EdX, etc.
1- Most universities have failed miserably in engaging promisingly with potential undergraduates seeking fresh enrollment, thus putting the brick and mortar education at stake.
Unsurprisingly college enrollment has gone down not only in US but around the world, especially for 1st year. Trying to break down where most universities failed.
In person collaboration in office only sucked us into involuntary distraction. Remote shuts that off. It took a global quarantine to realize this. Almost all top leaders I know are going remote - probably forever.
Online proctoring has to move from ‘Big Brother is watching you’ to ‘Smile you are on camera’ as in a shopping mall. You know there is surveillance but you are not intimidated. #onlineexams#anticheating#proctoring
