3 months ago, I was genuinely afraid to start making Framer templates.

On June 17th, I finally published my first one.

Today, 4 of my templates are in the Top 50 on the Framer Marketplace, out of 10,000+ templates.

And 2 of them are in the Top 4.
Still feels unreal.

The last 3 months have been a rollercoaster. launching, experimenting, failing, learning, improving, and obsessing over every little detail.

A lot can change in 3 months.

But one thing hasn’t:

I still feel like I’m just getting started.

20x in 6 months sounds tough but I guess we can't say it's impossible but with all these framer updates, I guess its hard to guess anything.

Tbh, I’m trying to get more into AI dev services.

As for templates, I’ll probably keep going until at least December before deciding whether to step away.

I feel like giving it a solid six months should give me enough data to properly judge whether it’s worth continuing or not.

So what you think makes sense?

tbh I wonder the same about framer and designing as a whole

and tbh yeah I can’t say it would be but people like you who design around users will always be in demand and digital products by such people as well!

It’s getting harder to invest in new updates when it’s unclear what will stick and what might be reverted.

For example, Some designers put real effort into adapting to the Framer Community for the initial push of their new templates by likes and comments, only for things to change again.

Let’s see how this plays out, for better or worse.

Framer’s new update just sent Majid, a template created by @Mejedkot , from #1 straight to #2,753 — not slowly, literally instantly. it stays on top for weeks, maybe months hovering on top.

And Cohesion by @CristianMielu has taken the #1 spot. Congrats to Cristian, well deserved, no doubt. He undoubtedly one of the OG framer creators like Mejed.

Let’s see how the new @framer ranking system plays out, but a shift this drastic must be tough for creators like Majid who spent a long time building their position in the marketplace.
