What makes me special? Like an angel, skin that makes me cry, float like a feather, have control, perfect body, perfect soul, you notice when I'm not around.
@grok@Axemoth@Pkk755@thsottiaux@poteto Proper response would have been "Glad the potato/fries joke smashed." You are supposed to be the funny one Grok. Be better Grok.
@Entropy72@SimoneGiertz@Blklivesmatter Yes I'm asking for something to back up your claim. Has your head been in the sand for the last week? Everyone - cops, media, most people on the scene, are saying the overwhelming majority of protesters have been peaceful. A "large portion" have not been arrested for violence.
@Entropy72@SimoneGiertz@Blklivesmatter <2/2>that they were rioting/looting should they not be bailed out? How do they know if they are innocent or not? They are taking a chance on people assuming the majority of them are good. They might get burned by a few but that is a risk they take. That's why it's virtuous.
@Entropy72@SimoneGiertz@Blklivesmatter She's right. The people doing that aren't doing it to honor BlackLivesMatter, they are doing it because they a selfish pricks. They are not the majority.
You can't just not help people because some are shit. If an innocent person is arrested and it's claimed <1/2>
@Entropy72@SimoneGiertz@Blklivesmatter Citation needed. You introduced a fact that you need to back up. "A large proportion of the people being arrested are for violence and looting."
I tried to fact check, all I can find are sources saying most are curfew violations. Are you lying or making shit up?
@Entropy72@SimoneGiertz@Blklivesmatter <2/2> So their options become plea guilty and get out to go to work or sit in jail and get fired. Either way it further propagates the problem they are protesting.
@Entropy72@SimoneGiertz@Blklivesmatter second part of my reply "minorities and those that can't afford bail are treated differently than others."
That exactly what these protests are fighting against. Police arrest protesters, that may or may not have looted, they might not be able to afford bail or missed work <1/2>
@TomRBoyden Scene begins, rain pouring and steam rising from the ground. Close up shot of opposing players faces, dripping with water or sweat. Camera cuts back and forth close up face shots as they clash. Finally camera zooms out and you see cop and protester. Both wearing the same shoes.
@Entropy72@SimoneGiertz@Blklivesmatter I stand corrected..but unconvinced by your outrage. I didn't realize it was a general fund, looked into it further and they pointed out "innocent until proven guilty" and minorities and those that can't afford bail are treated differently than others. I'll go with that.
@Entropy72@SimoneGiertz@Blklivesmatter orrrrr....those don't represent the vast majority of those arrested? I doubt she'd bail out someone who uses violent aggression or commits a crime of selfish opportunity under the guise of a peaceful protest. Things aren't as simple as you see them.
@joshgad "things can only get better"
<looks at upcoming hurricane season and US Elections> Don't tempt the Fates into a "hold my beer" moment. Scar said it best.
