This week's updates include Civic Works at Clifton Mansion, hearings on the Brooklyn shooting, BGE regulators and my bills including the Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act, and Vacant Building Water Shut Offs.

In Maryland, we love our country. That's why we're securing abortion rights. That's why we're fighting to protect our planet. That's why we're investing in a future for the next generation.
In Maryland, we know what it really means to a be a patriot.

Congressman Jamie Raskin made the salient decision to run for re-election. He’s a strong force as the ranking Democratic on the Oversight Committee in the House. He’s needed there. There are good choices among the candidates running for the U S Senate seat!
Had to unpack my thoughts on the recent mass shooting here in Baltimore. Where do we go from here from a community perspective? I’m also not on twitter as much anymore so going forward I will be utilizing YouTube for a lot more of my content.

Another great morning hike around the state! This one at the Greenbury Point Trail, which used to be one of the largest listening outpost of submarines in the country!
And the folks I met on the hike were so kind. And Tucker came back starving! Nothing beats our state!
Attended an inspirational unveiling of Justice Thurgood Marshall’s portrait in City Hall with @MayorBMScott, the Reverend @DrAlHathaway and Baltimore artist Ernest Shaw. It will reside in City Hall until June 2024 - please come over & view this breathtaking painting. ⚖️🖤💛
BALTIMORE LEGEND: The late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, who fought to end racial segregation in public schools, will be displayed in the Baltimore City Hall Rotunda.

Out in this heat serving with our youth. This week we cleaned up the neighborhood around the Rec center as our act of service. It was beautiful to see our kids interacting with their neighbors and the gratitude they received for their hard work. Our hood, our responsibility.
Today's arrest is a signal that with the community's help we can get justice for Aaliyah, Kylis, and everyone who has been impacted by this tragedy - and Baltimoreans have, my word that we will not rest until we do.
