Tonight I will be giving a brief synopsis on @naasdorg and highlight some of the things we are currently doing in the Reparation Space at Ohio State University. IBW21’s Pres Ron Daniels and I will be on a panel. This should be interesting.
@KG4Georgia@Cant_Be_Rated There are definitely solutions... I met a DC insider that shared with me that there are Legislators in Washington who believe in #reparations BUT believe the work is just too heavy of a lift... The insider suggested that we run candidates, which speaks to your point of openness.
@TamaraShealey@Cant_Be_Rated A great step in the direction of reparations would be a wealth tax, and that will definitely be on the ballot in 2028. Doubt either of eventual nominees will advocate for it openly, although it’s possible AOC would show openness to it.
Being American is a condition. When an immigrant comes to America and becomes a citizen, they become a US citizen without being American, because they have no ancestry to the conditions of Americans: no Jim Crow, no Civil War, no Vietnam War, no Great Depression, no slavery, no other wars before 1965, no ancestry to the founding of America, and no other historical wars before 1965 and the 1900s.
@DzGrammas2008 There seems to be a lot to unpack and this app is not the place. Consider participating individually or with a group. I would love to work with you: https://t.co/PYTHPMvJy9
@DzGrammas2008 Thank you for asking... Read this and join the Space on this Saturday with @Earthdriver. We will be discussing #reparations... https://t.co/evN92ivAWz
OMB is taking public comments on proposed changes to the 2030 Census, including eliminating racial/ethnic categories all together . Democrats could change this in 2028 if they win—but don’t wait. Submit your comment by Oct. 13, 2026: https://t.co/PSzML5qc8F
