@jezenaii@adoomies3 π€£π€£ I'm watching from Nigeria and I was shocked to know that men were watching this season. In fact, I have a male friend who is watching. Recently, he's been seeming red pill adjacent (I mean, we are in Nigeria and Christians, why am I surprised?).
@Juliabliss0@EraserheadYT I'm torn about KC. I still like him, but I'm disappointed and wary. Disappointed with Aniya too. But I haven't forgotten the nonsense I had in my head at 22,23, so I'll give them grace.
@Juliabliss0 Exactly!!! Praising her to her face but talking shit elsewhere. I think she didn't feel comfortable because something in the ether was telling her "Get out!!" I think she doesn't yet trust her intuition, bcos she also said Mel&Sin were toxic earlier.
@arojinle1 "Enemies", that's the word Awolowo used to describe the entire Eastern region, old and young, civilian and military, during the civil war. This isn't war, we are in a democratic country. What enemies? It's just your fellow country men with disagreements, holding you accountable
@OlannaOli It's ridiculous because they have basketball, hockey, football and baseball players in the US. What does LeBron do in his free time? Does he have an accounting job waiting for him or is he just living the life of a successful, famous and rich celebrity?
@ayoadeba@therealFadaca It's his responsibility, he didn't do anyone a favour. And these people should have spent less time there. In fact, this should have never happened. The beheaded teacher can't do or say shit anymore.
@getchme1 Niger in Latin is black. The n word is an insult about our black skin(a dumb one because wtf is that). Anyway, they say that word and then do terrible things to the person they use it on.
@getchme1 The important name to me is what the people who lived closest to the river called it, not some foreigners, including Leo Africanus. Niger is in the KJV bible and we know what that means for the man the word is attached to his name. Let's stop pretending
*I saw something about the time when white people were here. It's been a while but I think there was racism implied. I mean the people who destroyed Benin and other places were definitely not chummy with our ancestors enough for them to think they were friends
@odanga_r I'm 25 and I've met one white person, but he was a little boy of about 11 from South Africa. I was 10 and didn't the word racism yet. We don't live with these people and our elders who did haven't passed on that history much. It's only in "No longer at ease" by Achebe that I saw
@VenusDownstairs@KaiUzama You don't have to change your mood. Just be cautious of the type of non-black person that calls you that word to your face. It might be the first step to actual aggression. A white person who's never been around black people dropping Ns, watch your back, they're probably testing
@DroidPostBlog@YourChargiee@KaiUzama That phrase is literally the new n-word now. And some niggas are using it to address other black people π€¦πΎββοΈ.
@YourChargiee@KaiUzama This word is literally the last word some people heard before they died, a lot of people and in recent times too. Don't minimize anything, the words are the first step to breaking you down before they do the harm, including the new buzzword "victim".
