🚨OFF CAMPUS STUDENT HOUSING OVERSIGHT?🚨
We’re learning after delayed move in there are water leaks, mold, sewage leaks, security breaches & poor communication at The Rambler #WestCampus. Students are moving to hotels again. Told it could be until mid November. Hotel is covered w/$50 food stipend. And like most off campus student housing they must sign a lease for next year asap if they haven’t already.

“My daughters had issues since the 1st day of move in it smelled like sewage. Then 1 week later they had a leak in the kitchen roof. Maintanance went and fixed it. Then they noticed mold on the ceiling in the kitchen so we called and sent messages to maintanance. After like 2 weeks someone from Maintanance went and right after I think they noticed it was a bigger issue and that is when they sent emails to my daughters that they needed to go out of the apartment and stay at a Hotel. So I think it is both sewage and mold.”

“My daughter is on the eighth floor and was told to move out until at least mid November. They have leaks whenever it rains and it has been that way since she moved in the building.Shoddy construction. I can’t fathom why anybody would rent an apartment here with nonexistent management and continuing building issues that I don’t think will go away in August 2024.”

“I’m here now getting daughters stuff out. Her room is empty and ceiling gone. Living room ceiling gone. Water coming down into buckets. It’s horrible, just want to cry.”
