This is devastating news for my swimmers who are some of the most dedicated children you will meet. I faced many concerned and upset swimmers tonight at training. Truth is we don’t know what the future holds but we must remain optimistic. Shame on every cllr who voted for this.

Councillors in North Lanarkshire have approved plans to close 39 facilities across the area including the Sir Matt Busby Sports Complex in Bellshill.
