This is Mags Carter

Mags served in the COG Army for fifteen years during the Pendulum Wars and is a demolitions expert, who led the 8th Kalona Siege Grenadiers to handle explosives.

After her discharge from the COG Army, Mags returned to Kalona and began working for the Timgad Prime Imulsion Refinery which required a lot of understanding of the layout of the land underground.

In the campaign we very briefly visit her place (in a 2-3 minute cutscene) and see that she's a fairly well decorated Gear and are shown a photo of her and her now ex-girlfriend for maybe 3 seconds.

Mags was born and raised in Kalona, Tyrus - The city we find ourselves in throughout the campaign so it's no mystery that she would understand the roads we travel be it above or below in this campaign.

During playthrough and maybe a few short cutscenes you may hear Mags pointing out which way your unit should go to get to your desired location and you'll even have one particularly poignant pep talk in which her 15 years as a decorated veteran of the COG Army and empathy as a person comes into play for the better.

At no time is Mags made to feel like the leader or as if she was the so-called "girl boss" and at no time was she made the focal point of the story for more than what I described above.

Marcus and Dom are the stars of Bravo Team and that's made clear, but Mags and Reyes are also a part of the newly thrown together Bravo Team and as such we should get some details as to who they are as characters. Fleshing them out DOES NOT take away from the focus of Marcus and Dom in this story in any fashion.

If you are an experienced gamer that has played this great game came to that conclusion or sadly, someone foolishly sitting on the fence and not playing the game in fear of the the things I mention above, it's a massive self-report about how you've allowed ignorant and bigoted views, likely due to the constant culture wars consistently ruining the discourse of our favorite hobby to infest your thinking process and you should pull back and reflect before you sink further into someone unrecognizable.

Mags Carter is a great new character to the franchise who doesn't overstay her welcome. Don't let the worst parts of you ruin experiencing her and E-Day even a little bit.

⚠️ تصحيح مهم آخر
لمعلومة منتشرة بشكل ركيك عن Gears of War: E-Day "وكأننا نلعب لعبة مختلفة"

الغير صحيح:
ان Mags هي القائدة ❌
وموجودة لتقلل من قيمة Marcus ❌

الصحيح:
ان بطل اللعبة وقائد فرقة "برافو"، وبل حتى القائد الميداني للجميع في عدة مواقف بأرض المعركة هو: Marcus Fenix ولا غيره ✅

وايضاً Mags تحترمه ولم تقلل منه ابداً او تأخذ مكانته طوال اللعبة عكس ما يشاع ✅

الاثبات:
بالمقطع حطيت امثلة (ويوجد غيرها الكثير) تثبت ان Marcus هو القائد الفعلي للفرقة سواء بالمشاهد السينمائية او حتى اثناء اللعب، وتثبت ان Mags تحترم Marcus ولم تقلل منه ابداً 👇🏼 ... ورغم ذلك يجب معرفة الحقائق التالية 💡

⚙️ في وقت الـ E-Day:

1️⃣ ماركوس كان عمره حوالي 22 سنة، ورتبته رقيب، ولديه 3 سنوات بالخدمة العسكرية. هو ابن العالم والبروفيسور آدم فينيكس (لكنه ما يحب يرتبط بإسم ابوه). عضو الكتيبة 26 للمشاة الملكية، ويعتبر فعلياً بطل حرب تاريخي واسطوري في معركة حقول آسفو (Aspho Fields). وحصل على أعلى وسام عسكري شرفي (وسام نجمة ايمبري - Embry Star) واللي يعتبر تكريم كبير له وانشهر به

2️⃣ ماغز عمرها حوالي 35 سنة، الأكبر سناً بينهم، ورتبتها أخصائي خبيرة متفجرات. وهي الأكثر خبرة في الفرقة بواقع 15 سنة. تعرضت لتسريح غير شرفي اثناء محاكمة عسكرية بتهمة الاهمال بعد مأساة أدت إلى اصابتها وموت فرقتها بالكامل، وذلك بسبب انفجار ناجم عن خلل (تحملت ذنب خطأ عسكري سابق)، ثم عملت في مصافي الايمولجن لمدة سنتين قبل E-Day واصيبت بمرض الرئة المعروف بـ Rustlung

3️⃣ دومينيك (دوم) كان تقريباً 20-21، ورتبته جندي. وعنده سنتين بالخدمة العسكرية. كان وقتها أب لطفلين، ويعتبر من فئة الجنود النخبة في الكتيبة 26 للمشاة الملكية (واجتاز تدريب الكوماندوز STG) وهو صديق مقرب لماركوس وفي منزلة الأخ له

4️⃣ وطبعاً لوكاس رييز هو الطالب العسكري المستجد، وعمره تقريباً 20 سنة في هذا الوقت وليس لديه اي خبرة قتالية ميدانية وانضم للفرقة مع ماركوس مباشرة اثناء E-Day

🛑 لكن المهم هو: ان ماركوس حصل على تكريم تاريخي بطولي وهو: نجمة ايمبري، واللي خلاه يصعد في سلم الرتب العسكرية بسرعة البرق. أيضاً هو الأعلى في الرتبة العسكرية بين المجموعة وهو القائد الفعلي لهم (ميدانياً ونظامياً) .. وبسبب مكانته كان في بعض الحالات يقود الميدان بالكامل بما فيه بعض العسكريين الأكبر سناً وخبرة ورتبة منه

ولازم يفهم البعض ان ماركوس في هذا الجزء كان صغير بالسن والخبرة، وليس هو ماركوس الموجود في الثلاثية .. فأنت بتشوف قصة فيها أبطال اخرين، وفيها شخصيات لديهم رتب عسكرية او خبرة ميدانية اكبر منه بكثير. رغم ذلك لم يسيئوا له ابداً بل احترموه كثيراً، وكان له تقدير واضح من الجميع

مشكلتنا مع اللي ما يعرف ويجهل هذي الأمور ويتهمنا بأننا راضين بما يحصل من تقليل لبطل السلسلة. لكن لا ... انا هنا اصحح هذا الكلام الخاطئ ✅
