least subtle cia psyop. god forbid a cis women think "i dont want to be constantly objectified for my biology and feel like an object of the patriarchy because i genetically have bigger breasts."
@lainey15398991@thereisnobeth do you think we should encourage women, cis or trans, to get these surgeries? surgeries based on body image issues that are deeply rooted in the patriarchal standards of female beauty? i just think we should be consistent for both trans and cis women.
i understand body autonomy and informed consent but sometimes we got to be honest with ourselves and our relationship to idealized female beauty standards. if the reason someone wants a surgery is just to be hotter, idk u do u but i will never openly encourage it.
hot take i dont think we should encourage a social environment where the goto answer to womens body image issues is plastic surgery. true for cis and trans women. /1
@GigachadessMain@thereisnobeth ok so the answer to dysphoria is not always throw money at a surgeon. if i had feet dysphoria is the solution to get a foot transplant
damn i got my first block from just saying that ffs is qualitatively different for ur quality of life than rib surgery.
i literally don't care if u get whatever surgeries you want but saying that all "trans women go insane" whenever they hear about this surgery is a little much.
@thereisnobeth ok so if it isnt about passing then why arent women with wide rib cages being driven insane hearing about this surgery? what makes trans women different?
