@LonTayESPNCU congrats on the radio career, Lon. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to you and Derek over the years! Best of luck to you moving forward. Hope to see you in lot 31 some time! Rock on Scorpions 🤘🏻
@LonTayESPNCU just curious what you decided on your football season tixs? Today was my re-seat selection and the choices and prices were terrible. I’m leaning towards a lot of tailgating time
@LonTayESPNCU Lon, you were spot on today about the reseat process. I have had tickets for a long time during some really bad football. Lost my seats too and same feeling about not purchasing this year.
Officer Jeffrey Friedlieb died by suicide yesterday night on the 4700 block of N Lamon. On 18 July 2011 Officer Friedlieb and his partner Officer Delvalle were shot in the line of duty near Pulaski and Wilcox after attempting to apprehend a suspected drug dealer. Friedlieb was born and raised on the Northwest side of Chicago.
He attended St. Tarcissus School, graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in 2000, and briefly attended the University of Iowa. In 2003, Friedlieb enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and served his time as a M1A1 Tank Crewman. Shortly after enlisting, he was deployed to Fallujah, Iraq where he took part in the Battle of Fallujah in November of 2004. In July 2007, he was honorably discharged as a sergeant from the Marine Corps, and then began his career with the Chicago Police Department.
May he rest in peace and we express our deepest condolences to his family.
