@ivipostingstuff We will see I guess. But with the current administration in the US and how closely they are in bed with big tech all it will take is “National Security concerns” (which may or may not be well founded) to put the kibosh on that.

@k4neHotS It’s not just “average Joe” that is going to be impacted on the hardware side. Everything uses memory, every business whether b2b or b2c, but ultimately those costs will be passed along to the already squeezed consumer (aka average Joe).

@701delta I didn’t mention price control. But an Industrial Revolution that is driving up the cost of everything, including utilities that will ultimately put hundreds of thousands of people out of jobs does not seem like the sort of thing that should go unchecked.
