Political tyranny is nothing compared to the social tyranny and a reformer who defies society is a more courageous man than a politician who defies Government.
While New York Times took Abhijeet Dipke seriously, India's Liberal Upper Caste Journos and their english news media platforms never wanted to platform him, that is obviously because of their deep seated hate towards giving visibility to rising Dalit Leadership.
Ironically, many of these platforms amplified mediocre opportunists like Kanhaiya,Shehla,Raghav etc.
Such editorial choices raise fundamental questions of gatekeeping and unequal distribution of visibility within India's liberal English Media landscape.
Madhya Pradesh: In Vidisha district, schoolchildren undertake a dangerous journey every day, hopping across the concrete pillars of a stop dam on the Betwa River to attend classes. @ChouhanShivraj@narendramodi
A recent NITI Aayog report said some 94,000 government schools were closed over the past decade, an average of 25 a day, contributing to a 2.26 crore decline in government school enrolment. The government schools’ share of total enrolment has fallen from 71% in 2005 to 49.24% in 2024-25.

At a time when affirmative policies are ideologically attacked, the striking silence of progressive liberal academics, leaders, public intellectuals, columnists & journalists who have made distinguished careers & secured international fellowships through dalit adivasi research and reportings are deafening.
Isn't it their ethical responsibility to publicly confront Caste Privilege and defend Constitutional rationale for reservation in deeply caste stratified society like ours.
Is academic scholarship confined to engaging with Dalit Adivasis for publications and research projects without everyday advocating for equality.
If the harassment of students at the hands of the police continues, the Cockroach Janta Party will respond with a massive peaceful protest soon.
The Govt must stop targeting and witch-hunting students.
I graduated in journalism from Manipal University. Back then, he was a board member, and now chairperson of its global wing. In Manipal, there was an NRI quota that allowed admissions across courses without passing entrance test, with hefty donation. Pai is a casteist capitalist.
Editors & Political Editors if you haven't yet taken interview of this guy, history will judge you.
Opinion writers if you haven't yet written a piece on this guy, history will be cruel to you
He united the Nation,he held constitution high,he lived dreams of Constitution framers.
Getting a little annoyed at the ease with which savarna liberals are taking potshots at Dipke. He's not perfect but he stepped up. Took on the govt & won.
Sure he towed a safe, mass-y, generic middle line & is close to AAP. Personally not my favorite politics but he did it on his terms & (need I repeat) won!
I have no connection/agenda with CJP honestly, just a question-- Is a Dalit leader so unacceptable that even in victory, savarna liberals have to micro-analyze who'd be a better leader?
Seeing a lot of progressives expose themselves. Fun.
