@EddieComeaux Funds used to support POC should be re-evaluated and instead be used to provide more beneficial resources for minorities such as social services and restorative justice programs. The goal should not be to create fear on campus, but instead a safe environment. #RacialJustice

@averg003 @angelll27_ @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar I see your point here and agree that being a student and a professional athlete are different. Amateurism helps us differentiate these, but do you think maybe implementing a work-study method to help student athletes financially would work? #UCR150 @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar

[Tanya @tanyamart98]

The purpose of Title IX is to prevent discrimination, but it seems like many institutions do not take it serious. Some athletes are rewarded more over others on the basis of sex even if they perform the same. #UCR150 @rabea_qamar @misssnallely

[Tanya @tanyamart98]

The NLI is more complicated than it seems, student athletes tend to sign right away because of the eagerness. They should first be well informed what they are getting themselves into be aware of what they are getting into. #Ucr150 @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar

It is sad to see that college students do not get compensated for their work as student athletes while the NCAA gets profit from these students that are just working hard to get an education and pursue an athletic career at the same time. #UCR150 @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar

[Tanya @tanyamart98]

[michael @paik_michael]

I drive a Honda Clarity Hybrid.

I pay $20/month on gas.

My last car was an S550 Benz.

I spent $500/month on gas.

A lot of people I know look at me crazy for this.

Some people think I must be doing worse financially and needed the downgrade.

Only the real hustlers understand

This year I’ve realised that things that “aren’t that deep” are actually 6ft deep. Friends not supporting you, not saying happy birthday to you, not making an effort with you or congratulating you on your achievements. All that shit is deep and I’m not having anymore of it.
