@JagexAsh had a curious thought and wondered if you knew the answer. What percentage of membered players have more than 1b value of gold on their account?
Me with my echo boots, ring of suffering, thrall runes, serpentine helm and dragon dagger (pp+): I just really don't like it when bosses do chip damage, you know?
@MarkHorseman@ZeddyHS This is true of most card games at high competitive levels.
Getting high on the ladder always feels more like a function of time spent than quality of play. Snap, mtg, ptcgl, hearthstone are all pretty consistently like this.
I don't want this. No teacher I know wants this. I'm not involved in hoopla, but I run a d&d club that is really disappointed they can't play on Thursday. This isn't being done to hurt kids, this job action (which is simply the removal of voluntary hours) is meant to show value.
Some thoughts regarding comments about STF withdrawing extra curr. Union job sanctions like striking are meant to be disruptive in order to show the value of the labour being lost. For most trades people, this directly relates to money. π§΅
Value will inherently result in the loss of student growth, and it will inevitably be met by the gov't immediately hitting the "greedy teachers are weoponizing children" button. That messaging was always going to happen, because the gov't always planned on letting it.
This sucks big time as a teacher, because we either do nothing and nothing happens, or we take job action at some cost. That's the point. Teachers are withholding the value they provide, resulting in the loss of that value (student outcomes).
@Fujikatsan@patrickmaze@SaskTeachersFed To get a good idea of what that looks like, you should look at other provinces that have it in their collective bargaining agreement. One simple answer, however, is agreed upon ratios. Basically, when a classroom hits X number of students, hire another teacher.
