We’re building the payment interoperability network for stablecoins.
Starting with NFC tap-to-pay, connecting wallets to the physical world & point-of-sale.
The network starts here.
Today, I'm glad to introduce @taprails
Stablecoins have made moving money globally much easier.
But spending stablecoins at the point of sale is still fragmented.
Different wallets. Different payment systems. No common layer connecting them.
That’s the problem we’re solving.
This is what we’re building at TapRails.
Stablecoins shouldn’t just be easy to move. You should be able to use them in the real world.
Tap your phone. Pay at a physical merchant.
The tap is just the beginning. The network is the real play.
Apple Pay for stablecoins.
POV: You just paid for something with USDC physically
No card.
No QR.
No awkward wallet gymnastics.
Just tap, pay and go.
@taprails . Apple Pay infra for stablecoins.

Stablecoins are no longer just “crypto.” They’re becoming real money for everyday life, business, and even AI.
@taprails is making stablecoins easy to spend and accepted in the real world.
Connected my @zerion wallet via @WalletConnect + @reown_
Made a USDC stablecoin tap-to-pay payment using the @taprails SDK.
Real wallet. Real USDC. Real payment. Settled on @base.
Just showing what’s possible with @taprails.
The future of remittance is no remittance.
I don’t really believe in the stablecoin sandwich for remittance (fiat to stablecoin to fiat again).
Most of the time, remittance means transferring a strong currency into a weaker one.
But stablecoins offer something new and valuable: the ability for people in emerging countries to hold a strong currency. And with players like us enabling merchants to accept crypto, they can now be spent directly.
So I believe the future for people in emerging countries isn’t to hold their local currencies. It’s to hold stablecoins, earn on them, and spend them.
We’re opening access to the TapRails APIs.
If you’re building a wallet, fintech, or payment product and want to enable stablecoin payments at the point of sale, you can request access.

Stablecoins are global. Spending them shouldn't require a QR code.
TapRails lets you tap your phone to pay with USDC from any wallet, to any merchant, on any app.
Tap-to-pay from @phantom to @coinbase . @avici to @gnosispay . One tap. Done.
API access coming soon.
@dimitar_drzh and I have been building @taprails something we think is missing from the stablecoin payment stack.
Stablecoins are great at moving money
They’re still not great at spending it
Payment infra for wallets, and neobanks to make stablecoin spendable physically
Next week we’re opening @taprails .
If you are building a stablecoin wallet or neobank and your users & merchants cannot spend & accept their stablecoins balance in the real world, that is the problem we solve.
Every major shift in money eventually reached the checkout.
Stablecoins have already changed how money moves.
Now they need to change how people pay.
@taprails will definitely be there. 🙂
Launching a Private beta for @taprails towards end of this week.
@dimitar_drzh and I already sent out a few invites.
Looking to add more neobanks & stablecoin enthusiasts to our private beta.
We’ve building our own merchant stablecoin acceptance mobile app just to mainly show @taprails stablecoins tap-to-pay infrastructures works.
Going to run a test pilot with few selected merchants and stablecoin enthusiasts over the next few weeks.
People keep asking why consumers aren’t paying with stablecoins.
I’m more interested in the fact that millions of people are already holding them.
Acceptance usually follows ownership, not the other way around.
If a stablecoin payment still needs a card network and fiat conversion, is it really a stablecoin payment?
Stablecoin cards solve an important problem today.
But the long-term opportunity is enabling people to spend stablecoins directly in physical stores with the same tap-to-pay experience they're already familiar with.
