7 teachers messaged me today that the only reason the % of positive COVID cases is so low in school districts is because THEY ARE NOT TESTING.

3 of the teachers said they were tested once when they returned over a month ago.

4 teachers said they have yet to be tested.

@GiftedTawk I love teaching because I was thinking about the future and how I would love to be able to do a lot of things in the morning meeting.

@mr_bache @ClassDojo Think of it as a communication tool not a management system. Attendance is a great feature on there.

@audvelez Yes!! Anytime i show pictures i try to find colored and recent ones. I had students researching ruby bridges and i showed them pictures of her today. They were shocked she was still alive.

If you think #TrumpWearsAdultDiapers is funny, bye.

It’s ableism.

I’ve had to use adult diapers at times due to my spinal cord injury. I know and love people, good people who are nothing like Trump, who wear diapers.

Criticize what he does. Trash the diaper jokes.

It’s so insane that Minneapolis stopped getting coverage after the fires died out.

The city hasn’t stopped protesting, at all.

This is the scene outside the police union headquarters right now. Thousands of people.

3,000 people died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

8 thousand people died TODAY from COVID-19.

About that many will die again tomorrow.

And the next day.

Is it getting harder for anyone else to know how to actually take these numbers in?
