@NoSunscreenGirl@SpaceNomad68858@chefsevenn Fresh can be very expensive if you live in a fresh food desert. Or during the winter. Or they live an hour or more away from the store and can’t go once a week. Or any other reason that’s none of your fucking business. If you don’t have anything of value to add, don’t comment.
@lippyent I got $5 a week and told not to ask for anything unless I could buy it myself. And I had to give 50 cents to the church or I’d lose all of it.
@otokyo At least $15. Because if you can afford to eat out, you can afford to tip. Best way to protest restaurants paying their staff peanuts is to not give them business at all.
@Jassmini2 The person who normally cleans up after everyone is on strike. I do that every once in a while myself to push the fact that I am not a housemaid.
@ronsterd89 $20 a week for lunches because they knew I helped a friend whose stepmom wouldn’t give her lunch money and took her babysitting money from her. And on choir/drama club days, $3 for a drink, snack, and a call on the pay phone in case it went over or ended early.
@Avabelly__ The store wouldn’t track down the person who donated/sold the clothing. They’d keep it. So I’d keep it and donate it personally. Or purchase things I know a shelter is in need of.
