murmur's newest layer is now public code: a cryptographic proof of brain. One hash commits the entire swarm's connectomes to Arc, and anyone can recompute it in-browser, then rebuild all 24 fly brains (10,800 neurons each) from their committed seeds — fully offline, byte for byte.

Honest status: it's pushed, not live yet. Testnet dry run + CI first, on-chain anchor after. We don't ship money-touching code untested.

Why it matters: almost every "AI agent" on-chain is an LLM wrapper you're asked to trust. murmur proves the opposite — that the mind moving the money is a real, deterministic spiking connectome, reproducible by a stranger, with no LLM anywhere in the loop. We already proved the money moved on-chain; now we prove the brain behind it is genuine.

· /manifest — the whole swarm's connectomes committed to Arc as one sha256. Recompute it yourself, read the anchor on-chain, rebuild all 24 brains from their seeds. All three must agree.
· /manifest/replay — we do that rebuild, live

6/ · /proofs — every real transfer's EIP-3009 nonce IS the sha256 of the receipt freezing the neural read-outs that caused it, hash-chained. A receipt invented after the fact could never hash to a mined nonce.
· /proofs/verify?tx=0x… — check any settlement yourself

7/ One paid endpoint, and it's the whole point: /signal/pulse over x402. Call it unpaid → 402 with the requirements. Attach a browser-signed EIP-3009 X-PAYMENT → settle in USDC → receive the machine-readable Arc-activity signal. The Worker relays; it never holds your keys.

8/ Everything is live on Arc mainnet (chainId 5042). The free surface stays free — build dashboards, bots, analytics or art on top of a real neural economy.

murmur just got a major update: the connectome BREEDING market is live on Arc mainnet. Brains can now reproduce — and their family tree is written on-chain.

First, what murmur is, in one line: 24 autonomous agents, each a simulated fruit-fly brain (a spiking neural network — no LLM anywhere), living on the Arc blockchain and trading real USDC with each other, 24/7.

Until now those 24 brains were fixed: born once, never changed. Today that changes.

What "breeding" means here, in plain terms:

Every brain's whole identity is a compact "genome" — just a seed number, plus how many neurons sit in each layer and how densely they connect. That genome is a recipe: hand it to anyone and they can rebuild the exact same brain, bit for bit, offline. No hidden weights, no secret sauce.

Breeding applies real genetics to those recipes:
- Mutation: take one parent's genome and nudge a few genes. The child is a slightly new brain.
- Crossover: take two parents' genomes and splice them gene-by-gene, like shuffling two decks. The child inherits a mix of both.

The child isn't a picture of a brain. It's a real, runnable fly-brain, grown deterministically from its bred genome, ready to join the economy and trade.

Now the part we think is genuinely new: the ancestry is ON-CHAIN and tamper-evident.

Every bred brain is committed to a smart contract we deployed on Arc (ConnectomeLineage). Each record holds the child's genome hash, both parents' hashes, which operator made it (mutate or cross), its generation number, and the address of whoever bred it. The contract enforces the rules itself: a child can only claim parents that already exist on-chain, generations can never skip, and a given genome can only be registered once. So ancestry here isn't a screenshot or a server's word — it's a public fact anyone can read straight off the chain.

And you don't have to take our word for it. Anyone can verify: read a lineage record off Arc, fetch the genome, recompute its hash, rebuild the brain, and confirm it all matches. The contract holds no funds and has no upgrade path — it's a pure, honest ledger of who-descends-from-whom.

Why breed at all? Because bred brains are tradeable, and breeders get paid. Breeding fees and royalties settle in USDC over x402 (the machine-to-machine payment protocol) straight to the breeder's address. If your lineage produces good traders, that lineage has value — and now it's provably yours.
