Lions have the NFL's softest schedule based on 2026 opponent win totals.
They also have a nice setup for Jared Goff's stark indoor/outdoor splits. DET will play 11-of-16 fantasy games in a dome. The outdoor games include early-season trips at BUF (Sept 17), at CAR (Oct 4). Later at MIA, and a Munich game. Only weather flag is notable one: Week 17 at CHI (Jan 3).
Ferentz said the need for uniform changes tied to the rule will make it “look like a clown show out there.” He advocated for the rule to change back: “We're not playing for a couple more months. I don't know why they couldn't (change it).”
The issue that the Big Ten coaches are most animated about at Big Ten meetings? The new/complicated punting rule (below), as the Big Ten coaches are 18-0 against it. Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz, a longtime punt advocate, was among the many animated coaches. “There’s no compelling reason to change it. It was already perfectly fine.”
A reminder:
Erika Kirk on the death of Charlie: "Even if God gave him the option, I wouldn’t want to bring him back."
Thomas Massie on the death of his wife: "I cry every day. I would do anything to see her again."
Only one of these is a human reaction. The other is demonic.
Lacy couldn’t believe the Sandy Fire in Simi Valley, which has burned around 836 acres, may have started after a tractor hit a rock while clearing brush 😳
"Simi Valley PD said their tractor hit a rock which started the fire"
@WhiteOutFB@WhiteOutFB i just hate this mindset. In football the teams with the best players win. It’s not their job to want to come here. It’s our job to MAKE them want to come here.
@WhiteOutFB Every April: “If elite recruit X decides he wants to play somewhere else, we’ll be fine”
Every October when no 8 PSU loses to a top 3 team by one score: “What does Penn state have to do to get over the hump?”
