@dcu_ecrc@DCU @dcediy What are the names in this alliance? Very interested to hear? Did you ask @FederationEarly to join or is this a witch hunt to put current providers out of business despite carrying the sector for yrs? What is your plan for us??
@MurphyDunne@EarlyYearsUnion@SimonHarrisTD@FederationEarly Delighted! Public funded??! So I get a teacher's salary as do staff, you pay my bills, and rent my premise from me. Oops sorry this is only about parents and children is it? No one else mentioned? When you put your brain in gear and talk, then listen, then act accordingly 🙄
@MurphyDunne@EarlyYearsUnion@SimonHarrisTD@FederationEarly It's time for policy makers to actually listen to us, the ones who are running this sector! I invite any actually all of you to sit on the floor with me & see what we actually do..
@MurphyDunne@EarlyYearsUnion@SimonHarrisTD@FederationEarly This government is slowly closing down some brilliant services. How are the young children of today ever going to grow up understanding this very strange world & government. All of you should be ashamed of yourselves for ruining a great industry that great people were running 😡
@MurphyDunne@EarlyYearsUnion@SimonHarrisTD@FederationEarly I'm sick of being the villian, we have fought for better funding for staff and parents. No one is fighting for us. In truth, we have subsidised our services for years from our own pockets, no wages for weeks. well, they're empty now. So what do we do? The system isn't working.
@MurphyDunne@EarlyYearsUnion@SimonHarrisTD@FederationEarly 100% dedicated providers & educators providing top class services. The only issue is there is not enough of us & that is purely down to poor treatment from government & @dcediy. Services closing educators leaving yet high demand it's not rocket science! The disrespect is immense
@EarlyYearsUnion@SimonHarrisTD High quality services are closing because of chronic underfunding. We have been fighting this for years. This sector is already publicly funded and this just shows Core Funding isn’t working. Providers are not at fault here. It is policy failure. @FederationEarly
@TreasaKeegan @dcediy @CathMurphyTD@ReadaCronin @BernardDurkanTD @lawlessj@rodericogorman@FederationEarly@EarlyChildhdIRL How can the Government not see that CF is not working!! They should have increased ECCE capitation & that would have helped thousands of us. Instead they took funds from ECCE service if they didn't sign up to CF, therefore making these services unviable.
@greenparty_ie@rodericogorman So you admit in your video it's early years Education yet you dropped this from our title. Why?? Because if we recognised as Education teachers you'd have to treat us with respect & pay teachers rates. Your party has ruined Early Years Education & Care sector. Shame on you all !!
@greenparty_ie@rodericogorman But they won’t, and well you know it. Childcare providers have been screaming out for increased subsidies for an age as they are struggling to stay afloat due to the woefully managed cost of living crisis (rent, energy, etc). On Monday, just watch fees increase across the board.
@greenparty_ie@rodericogorman This is quite simply untrue. In fact it is the opposite of the truth for the vast majority of parents. @rodericogorman has a constant record of being untrustworthy.
