After upgrading to @phpstorm 2023.2 I've started getting the following error when trying to run tests in certain directories:
"PHPUnit settings are not configured"
Two other people on my team are seeing the same issue. Anyone know of a fix?
We have multiple test roots, but the test in question is inside a directory listed in "Test roots" for the PHPUnit configuration. And many other tests still run fine.
The tests that work run `vendor/phpunit` directly. The tests that don't run thru a custom `ide-phpunit.php` that I don't really see documented anywhere.
A temporary fix for anyone who is dealing with this right now is to update you default PHPUnit run configuration template (click "Edit configuration templates…" in the Run Configurations dialog). You need to set the "alternate config file" to your project's phpunit.xml file—but this only works if you're only working inside one project…
If anyone has any more insight than that, let me know!
