Padum Hurim Festival at Padum Khar in Zanskar celebrates the valley’s Buddhist heritage. Monks perform masked cham dances that tell sacred stories. A butter and barley torma is burned to symbolize purification and renewal. The festival preserves Zanskar’s faith and traditions.
