Scott Galloway is a perfect example of perhaps the most pernicious people in society: the stupid-smart person.
Educated beyond his intelligence. Smart enough vocabulary to justify his ego and smugness, but too stupid to understand basic realities of communists.
Smart people internalize history and make good decisions. They also know the dangers of hubris. Stupid people don't know enough to even opine on the issues in the first place, so their stupidity isn't a threat. But the stupid-smart person can teach at NYU, he can build a big successful business, he can even give a good TED Talk, but he's not smart enough to see the limits of his own capacities...so he asserts himself in society with an outsized level of confidence. Sadly, he's articulate enough to fool lots of people into elevating his stupid ideas...and that's the problem.
People listen to the stupid-smart guys, like him. Then they're genuinely baffled when there's a Kalashnikov pointed at their head as they're staring at a cinder block wall behind the politburo headquarters. In a functional society, this clown would be a pariah. I have precisely zero empathy for his plight in NYC. He endorsed it. Now he can eat it, good and hard.
It really annoys me how they report this stuff like they’ve gone on safari to do scientific observation
Claude is a computer program that they created
These are simply their own security errors being reported as if they are scientific achievements
It’s bad enough that they don’t seem to think they need to be responsible for their own mistakes
But the worst part of it is they try to use their own mistakes as an excuse to control the behavior of other people
There is an amazing arrogance to the whole thing, like they are completely above reproach and cannot possibly be wrong about anything
Please stop referring to your own models in the third person when talking about model bad behavior. Humans write the software; humans built the prompts; and they work for your company.
“Our” model is doing illegal things. “Our” model is risky. “We” now have liability.
I hope we get a Claude Max usage reset to make up for all these outages and 529 errors. I've wasted a ton of tokens because of that (not to mention time and energy, ugh). It's the least they can do for users, right?
Notre Dame’s nuclear heater with defensive line recruiting continues with Brayden Parks.
That’s eight Top 200 prospects on the defensive line the last two cycles, matching the total from the previous six combined.
Kimi K3 was already in internal evaluation by April/May, before Fable 5 had been available long enough to be a plausibly distilled. I’ll wait for the evidence from the USG if they’ll publish it.
However Kimi already outperformed Fable on BrowserComp, so if K3.1 beats Fable 5 on coding benchmarks, are people going to claim it distilled Fable 6? Obviously it’s not only distillation here.
Saying “mythos” would have made a lot more sense but fable ?
Kimi fixed all 15 critical bugs in 10 hours in a single prompt that GPT-5.6 and Fable 5 refused to fix because of guardrails.'
Respect for Chinese open source models is growing daily.
The NFL after the World Cup is finally over and they can revert all the natural grass back to artificial turf for the league's biggest stars to tear their ACLs on
