I would also request you donate to your local epilepsy foundation, to help fund research into SUDEP and the disease in general. It is one of the least funded conditions there are, considering how many people it affects.

Drew had no life insurance, no pension, he didn't even qualify for the CPP death benefit because he couldn't work, and thus was not a valid human to the government. Everything has been out of my own pocket, and I am not rich.

@scretladyspider I didn't get any of the highs, just the lows. I've known people with bipolar and BPD and their struggles were not my struggles. I had to advocate for myself and pay hundreds of dollars, I had to travel to another city and take time off work, but in the end it was worth it.

@scretladyspider I was diagnosed with ADHD at 35, it took years to convince a doctor to send me to a real psychiatrist for assessment, and then it was a nearly 2 year waitlist. I was misdiagnosed with Bipolar Disorder as a teen, and I knew it was wrong because I never felt manic.
