@_ShamGod all the talk about what it means to be a hack and the man is open about the machine giving him a feeling of invulnerability, that he can know and do so much More than he thought, it's the opening to many a terrifying article on AI breaking brains
@_ShamGod i also think it's odd that people are talking about laziness & greed when his actual statement is a disclosure about (what other articles call) AI psychosis. like he was open about how it made him ~feel~ and how his family reacted to changes in his behavior
a lot of bad sewing news feels distasteful to complain about, but this is personally quite sad. i need a new funeral dress and my favorite textile is no longer in production (i called to check) and the only business with remaining stock is selling it for 580% the 2021 price
i don't know why young women have started saying "i'm in my luteal phase" but i do not like it. "my period starts next week" is the same amount of syllables if you're really against saying pms or pmdd
@rianphin i am old (on ig and not tiktok) but is it similar to the series that the owner of the locavore does where she hunts down things like drawer pulls in local nyc stores?
I personally would love to see olivia rodrigo wear Molly Goddardโs sheer smocked baptism mini dresses. Or freaky Simone Rocha slips. But I feel that way because I was wearing american apparel micro shorts ten years ago. everybody get a grip!!
@2axelbot as someone who has already discussed and Settled some of the debate topics with people irl, you could not pay me to tweet about them in the year 2026
@MediumSizeMeech Also the female protagonists of romcoms were often sad. Just intensely lonely. No family to spend Christmas with, no friends at all or one female friend whoโs competition at work. So many movies were about women with beautiful apartments and no social lives. Thatโs been inverted
@theashleyray honestly I donโt think any shows trying to reckon with 2020 in an earnest way are succeeding. The monologues that actors playing black cops have been forced to do in the last six years, the teens shows that use the word trauma every episode, earnest tv is in a bad way imo
