Everyone talks about the the same founders everyday:
Musk. Zuck. Gates. Bezos.
But no one talks about these 7 founders - and they’re changing the world:
someone validating your emotions feels like a hug. it’s comforting because in our times of conflict with others or ourselves, the dominating feeling is confusion. feeling stuck in an anxious fog with no vision of where you’re headed but knowledge that you are sinking is awful.
The goal with healing isn’t to never experience wounding again.
Healing is being okay when wounds come up because you know you are safe no matter what, and you have the tools to comfort yourself and bring yourself back to neutral.
Healing is a part of learning yourself. It’s a part of self care and self love.
The goal with healing to learn how to maintain ourselves and patch ourselves up. Not become magical god like creature that never has to feel pain again.

Hirap maging tao.
It takes a lot of emotional maturity to look objectively at someone’s actions toward you, even after they hurt your feelings, so that you can understand why it happened because you love them & refuse to villainize them because you understand that people are seldom real villains.
@Theholisticpsyc Unrealistic expectations are unrealistic because one person in a relationship set a standard that the other person didn't even acknowledge or even agreed to!
And at the end, each person is miserable with no remedy within sight.
