First set of microteaches in our new GCHE. This week I’ve learned: to play guitar, to write a song, to manipulate sound, to talk like a hamster, to draw freely, to interpret lines, to write scripts, to colour match, to create mood with light, to read a job ad & to use ChatGPT.

For our new PGCert HE I introduced authentic and flexible assessments. I didn’t want umpteen essays on signature pedagogy. Instead, I got …sculpture, an interactive walk, Careers Counselling for Dummies, student personas, a podcast, an exquisite corpse... Marking will be a joy!
