if you try to rationalize that child porn is not inherently immoral you’re genuinely sick in the head
anyone defending it should be nowhere near society
The world would have you believe a strong woman is angry, promiscuous, and godless.
They’re wrong.
The strongest women find joy in the darkness, honor their husbands, & fear the Lord above all.
They forgive & give thanks.
& Erika Kirk may just be the strongest out there.
Beautiful and moving words which should be taken to heart, especially the advice to young men and women about marriage and family. That's where hope for the young and for the country lies, not in revenge fantasies that can only accelerate the death spiral of our political culture
From Erika Kirk’s NY Times article: “It’s so hard to articulate the beauty of an Ephesians 5 marriage when you actually have a man that’s worth following, to have a true example of a leader to look up to. And I had that in Charlie.”
My dear American friends,
We British Christians would get excited when, once a year, Queen Elizabeth would make a mild but sincere reference to the love of Jesus Christ in her Christmas address.
In Charlie Kirks' Memorial service, watched by tens of millions, I just heard:
- Multiple clear presentations of the gospel from men like @robmccoyus and @DrFrankTurek with clear calls to repentance and faith
- Worship songs full of Scripture sung by tens of thousands live and millions at home
- Personal testimonies of lives transformed by the work of Christ and the witness of believers
- Demonstration and explanation of the value of marriage, child-rearing and family
- Calls to Romans 13 for the government to bear the sword for the protection of good and punishment of the wicked
- Declarations of spiritual warfare on the forces of evil and promises to endure no matter the cost
- Calls to be prophets and call the nation to repent
- More Scripture references and Bible readings than I can count
- And a widow publicly forgiving her husband's killer because Christ forgave his killers on the cross.
All of it done before, and by, the most powerful people in your nation and the world.
You guys should be on your knees thanking God for your country. It is a light to the world.
Never stop fighting for it.
Watching the service for #CharlieKirk today reminded me of this:
The incredible thing about the Gospel is that if the shooter were to repent and believe in Jesus for salvation, he too would be in Heaven one day standing around the throne with Charlie… worshipping the same Savior.
That’s grace.
Erika Kirk: "My husband Charlie he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life...On the cross, our savior said, 'Father, forgive them, for they not know what they do.' That young man. I forgive him."
Just a few days after her husband was murdered, Erika Kirk displayed less bitterness than many leftists demonstrate on a random Tuesday.
This also is a powerful witness to the love of Christ.
This is Erika Kirk’s full eulogy for Charlie. It’ll leave you with chills. She has Charlie’s heart and ability to connect with everyone on a personal level where it doesn’t seem like there’s a stadium of people around. Almost no one could meet this moment. She absolutely did. ❤️
Charlie Kirk helped me realize that the left was lying to me about everything I was told to believe in. I’m not a transgender communist anymore. And I love the West. Our civilization is worth protecting. Thank you, Charlie. You will be deeply missed.
Destiny,
You’ll likely respond with something disgusting but I’m going to tell you what you need to hear. Jesus loves you. That darkness in you is a choice. It’s not too late to change. You’ve embraced evil and it’ll destroy you if you don’t turn back now.
We will pray for you.
Exactly. The left-wing error here is “Loving our enemies is good; so punishing evildoers is suspect.” The right-wing error here is “Punishing evildoers is good; so loving our enemies is suspect.” These errors feed off of one another. Both must be resisted, without compromise.
The death of Charlie Kirk has changed a lot of things. For me, it has changed the ground rules for civil debate.
You have to believe your opponents are real human beings or you're not welcome any more.

I am begging everyone to understand that EROS is one of the most power forces in the human condition and how societies regulate and structure it matters GREATLY to the health of the whole society/polity.
Liberalism sold us a fake bill of goods when it promised that everyone could indulge in any sort of distorted or perverted or disordered eros to their heart's content, "so long as they kept it private"
The didn't keep it private, because that isn't how either eros or the public/private distinction works, but the essential point to grasp is this:
Disordered eros starts to have very grave social externalities when it reaches a critical mass in society.
It is not unlike crime in this regard: all societies have a degree of crime and a degree of disordered eros, but when either becomes ubiquitous in society, disorder and disruption of the society itself follow.
I know the 20th and our 21st centuries are surprised by this but ... sin is actually bad.
I guess it's my family's background in missions and cross cultural church planting that I get a bit worked up when people say "the church should..." or "pastors should..." and then say something that could only apply to American churches. It just sounds so weird to me.
