Hi! I have a problem and I want you to help me figure it out. First off, I’m not asking for anything for free. Quite the opposite actually. I’m a brand new Model Y Premium owner. I picked up my new Tesla 6 days ago. I am a working mom. I have 3 babies. I don’t have a sob story. I don’t have a crazy out of world complaint. I just simply feel like I represent millions of Americans today. Trying my hardest to give my kids a better life. Working my ass off in fact.

A little about me. I taught first grade in a tiny little east Texas town for 8 years. I loved it. My students were my babies before I had babies of my own. They came to school carrying a hell of a lot more than backpacks. I wanted them to have a shot at a future where the sky is the limit literally. Today, I have the privilege of working for a company that helps people become teachers. We help good people become great educators. I love what I do. I have found a skill set I never knew I had and I get to travel all over the great lone star state.

My husband shares my
Passion for education. He is a Special Education teacher and a football coach. When I married him I knew I was not going to marry for money. Lol life hasn’t always been easy, just like everyone we’ve had our mountain top highs and our deep valley lows. Money has always been short but our love somehow always carried us.

My job requires me to travel, and often. Leaving my babies for work trips can sometimes flood my heart with guilt. But I know that they depend on me and my income. In the last year due to my efforts in my job role, I’ve been able to pay off our 40k in student loan debt, pay off our credit card debt, and in May, our little family of 5 purchased our best first family home. It’s not extravagant, but it’s ours. And I’m so damn proud of myself. 

When I’m away, my safety is what is most important. Which is why for the last year I have been saving any extra dollar I could to afford a Tesla. My credit wasn’t great, we were upside down on my trade in, but I was determined to finally own a Tesla. The Self driving feature alone is a game changer for me. Before I leave on every work trip I always kiss my babies goodnight and read them a bedtime story because traveling anywhere, let alone on sometimes very long road trips, is dangerous. 
Being a full time working mom is one of the hardest jobs there is. I truly mean that. Someone needs something from you from the minute you wake up until the minute you go to sleep. But I’d do it every day over again for my kids.

I have been researching and reading and listening to podcasts about Tesla. I’ve been diving deeper into Elon and his visions for the future. Love him or hate him you cannot deny the man’s a genius. I came across the Model Y L several months ago from a content creator who lived in Australia who was shooting a POV from their brand new Model Y L. And I was hooked. Having 3 babies, 3 car seats. The lay out and the space mixed with the safety was something I knew I had to have. And so I saved. And I paid off little debt here. I made early payments. I took on more travel to able to earn more commission to set aside for this car. I knew it was my way to at the very least more safety on one roads, especially late at night. 

I ordered my Tesla from the Tyler TX location. When I say the people  I worked with were outstanding. They were kind. They understood how important safety is to a young mom. 

During our demo drive I asked about the model YL and they expressed that it was still a rumor some had heard the robots are going to be the next big thing. Possibly wouldn’t be able to order till one end of this year with  deliveries not happening until 2027. Having a high demanding job and the 3 kids. Next year wasn’t going to be any 
 option. I have watched every video every And so I did what badass bring I set out to do in January and I bought my very first Tesla Model Y Premium rear wheel drive.

Just picked up my Model Y 6 days ago after busting my ass for a full year to pay for it — 3 babies, nonstop state-wide driving for work. Been tracking Model Y L 6-seater rumors forever. Sales guy said “probably not launching till Dec, deliveries 2027 if ever.”
Bought the Premium anyway… and TODAY the L drops?! 😭😭😭
3 car seats in a regular Y is straight chaos. This 6-seater would be life-changing for our family.
Any Tesla upgrade/trade-in magic for a desperate new dad who timed it perfectly wrong?

Elon, I just bought my Model Y 6 days ago after grinding for a YEAR to pay off my old car and finally get the family hauler I dreamed of. 3 babies. State-wide driving for work. I’ve been stalking Model Y L rumors like a hawk. Sales guy swore it wouldn’t launch till Dec and deliveries in 2027.
So I pulled the trigger… and TODAY the 6-seater L drops?! 😭😭😭
I need this thing more than my next breath. 3 car seats in a regular Y is chaos. I’ll even unfollow Ashley St. Claire on TikTok as tribute.😁😁

I just took delivery of my brand new Model Y less than a week ago… and today the Model Y L was announced!! 😭

I have 3 kids and actually asked before buying if the Y L was coming soon. I was told it was likely late this year or even 2027, so I couldn’t wait because I travel for work.

My Model Y is still literally brand new with hardly any miles on it! I’ll totally pay for the difference. And hell I’ll even unfollow Ashley St. Clair on TikTok lol but for real can you like make one tiny exception. If it helps my kids are the like cutest ever
