Anyone ever seen interstate-induced clouds before? Low level CU developed perfectly along major interstates around Houston this morning. Kind of shocking to see such perfectly lined up clouds. #txwx
Surreal experience last night chasing under a full moon with one of the best lightning shows I've ever seen. Unfortunately flooding and road closures forced me to be stuck quite a ways west by this point, but I'll take this view.
Photo of the “confirmed tornado” South of Holyoke. This was a random merger on the west side of the storm. Was halfway down for about ten minutes. Photo taken 6:02 MT @NWSGoodland
@Brady_Wx Enid and it’s not close. Just because there weren’t many chasers there to see the full life cycle and backlit view, doesn’t mean it wasn’t far and away the better tornado.
@brendonme I remembered this tweet when I started watching Nikita go scorched earth and wondered if Massimo would get the axe. Have to give some credit to Elon for hiring this guy and giving him the freedom to do the right thing. Didn’t expect this to be a priority for X
@clarencewlsmith In the bit I watched, there were several pieces of misinfo thrown around like lumping every single spotter into one bucket of “7600 chasers in Kansas”. And what laws are actually being broken? Having a convo is good but if the issue is too much congestion then just say that.
