At 09.11h Wednesday 5th July 2023, we received a call from workmen working at the Esplanade near Balmossie that two dolphins had live stranded on the beach.

Scottish SPCA were alerted along with British Divers Marine Life Rescue

Keeping children safe near water

On average 96 people (mostly male) lose their life in Scotland each year due to a water related fatality. Around 1 in 4 of those people had no intention of ever entering the water. This figure is almost double the average for the whole of the UK

How would you feel if a poorly parked vehicle delayed firefighters reaching an incident?
A 10ft gap is needed to allow a fire engine to pass by. When you park check there's enough space. If there’s not enough room please move your vehicle - someone’s life could depend on it.

Our search dog teams were afloat on the Clyde today giving the dog the experience of boarding vessels and going ashore onto pontoons, riverbanks, etc. Thank you to our friends @GHSLifeguards for their time and use of their boats.
