@MewoMewoCS@hobshy@CounterStrike i've had to forgo my push to 30k because of the quality of games in 25k+ elo, went from 28k down to 24k just to enjoy the games and not be paranoid and waste time looking at demos. At the peak of my frustrations i was facing cheaters in 8/10 games, now barely any in 50 games
@MewoMewoCS@hobshy@CounterStrike the market for cheatmakers is just too big, the only thing stopping more players from cheating are their aspirations and morals, i truly dont see a thing valve could do since they are against kernal ac's, the only thing they could do is to lean on the trust factor
@MewoMewoCS@hobshy@CounterStrike anticheat will never fix this it will always be an arms race, we would need dedicated valve employees responsible for manual banning cheaters daily but we all know valve wont go this route
@MewoMewoCS i don’t believe valve should be telling you from the get-go if there’s is going to be a sale, also you cant really make it right for both sides, you either take the risk when the content drops or take the risk waiting for sale which might not happen
@adzzhq have been thinking the same since the first tradeup update hit the market tower, although i dont think it will be anytime soon, more like a trap card for when golds recover to above scm prices
@MewoMewoCS i honestly feel its a Icarus moment, with the chinese pumps these past 2 years we flew to close to the sun and are getting burned, but i do believe that as long as trading is not disabled the market will persist, well as long as the player base is still there
