Dad,husband, nature freak! On the side..try to help peds patients achieve optimal benefit from their medications. #Pharmacist Tweets are all mine, opinions too.
@Alyse40967572 @CBCEdmonton@RachelNotley I totally agree. All politicians from all the parties need to come clean and resign. Then put tracking ankle bracelets on the rest of the politicans. Its saddly pathetic how these elected MP's took advantage of Canadians trust in them. A trust was broken and cant be mended.
‘Sickening’ and ‘despicable’ are words Alberta's NDP is using to describe the UCP MLAs and ministers who travelled abroad over the holidays. They also want the premier to release a full list of UCP MLAs who left Canada: https://t.co/lLIW3sHSLm #ableg
On Friday, @jkenney sunk to new lows to defend his MLAs for taking tropical vacations while Albertans stayed home. Today, after days of unprecedented outrage, he sunk to another low by failing to even face Albertans when he too late announced their resignations. #ableg

UNA members in Medicine Hat joined their coworkers from @_AUPE_, @HSAAlberta, @CupeAB and @FriendsMedicare to send a loud and clear message to the Alberta government that they are ready to fight back against cuts to public services. #ableg#abhealth#medhat
Your trauma lesson of the day:
Wearing a helmet on a motorcycle will help to protect your brain. It will not, however, protect the majority of your exposed skin on your arms, legs, chest, and back from being abraded directly onto the street when you fall off at 120 kph.
When I was a medical student, a surgery resident told me to wake every patient on morning rounds (~6:00 a.m.) “Your time is more valuable than theirs” he said.
And so I did.
What terrible advice that was.
Pharmacists: Upcoming paper in @CPJ_RPC: @zubin_austin shows that pharmacists have little professional identity. What does this mean? How did we get like that? What steps do we need to take? Send your responses - I will include as many as I can, with attribution, to my editorial.
For the first time in history, Fire Fighters for Alberta have endorsed a political party. We are humbled to be that party.
Thank you for having our back - in many more ways than just this one.

Let’s try talking to patients. Welcoming their concerns. And being adults about how to tackle each one. Physicians are caring people, the business is getting in the way of that.
Please explain this to me? As Chair of the Minister’s PFAC, I have raised this issue as have other members of the council.
#onhealth@ONThealth
What am I missing that we can correct this? How many people have “1 issue” they go see their doctor?
Find out what the team has been up to this week, incl. updates on #ProjectA, #NursingNowEngland, #FutureMidwifery, as well as a range of interesting articles on wellbeing, social media, & innovation. We hope you find it useful! https://t.co/ywOk9hDRCt

Serious question for UK surgeons - why do so few UK surgeons wear surgical masks while operating? I know infection control stats don't always support but what about standard precautions? #ILookLikeASurgeon
Mr. Kenney has spent his entire life fighting for two-tiered health care. His plan will mean the quality of care you & your family get will depend more on your credit card than your health card.
It will mean longer wait times & less access to the care you need, when you need it.
.@PatientCritical what pts need to ask is, what are we willing to pay for in #ONhealth? There are huge unmet needs, burnout in @OntariosDoctors is multi-fold, and partly bc of lack of covered allied health. The #MOH has to think abt virtual teams like #SCOPE to ⬆️ access
