Years of inertia re. the Orwell Bridge and a Northern Bypass is hurting Ipswich and Suffolk.

That's why I'm urging the Government to elevate it out of the local political quagmire, and give it the attention it deserves by designating it as nationally significant infrastructure.

The right to peaceful protest is an incredibly important part of any functioning democracy.

When you pick up a brick, set light to a building, beat up bystanders or attack the police it is no longer peaceful protest. It is thuggery.

We are better than this.
