For 18 years, @GovWesMoore claimed stolen valor until his team quietly begged the Biden administration for a Bronze Star on their way out the door. He lied about his hometown in his own autobiography, submitted a thesis to Oxford that he never actually turned in, and listed awards that never existed. He inherited a $5.5 billion surplus, told Marylanders it was a deficit, signed the largest fee hike in state history, and called it relief. @iamwesmoore doesn't have a memory problem. He has a character problem, and at this point, Marylanders deserve to know it.
On Meet the Press, Governor Wes Moore touted his solutions for black maternal health disparities: anti-bias training, cash assistance, and hiring more nurses of color. It sounds great, doesn't it?
But what happens when you challenge the narrative? They’ll say you’re a bad person who just doesn’t care.
So let’s look at the facts. In 2025, Governor Moore cut $10 million from a proven program that helps mothers and saves babies. I offered an amendment to restore that funding. Where would the money come from? By trimming the Governor’s own office budget, which had exploded by 78% since he took office. Even if the amendment was accepted, Moore's office would still have $500,000 more than the previous administration had just three years prior.
Annapolis Democrats faced a clear choice: restore funding for a proven program for mothers and babies, or protect the Governor’s massive office expansion.
They chose the Governor's office over Maryland’s mothers and babies, many of whom are from the marginalized communities they claim to want to protect.
So if anyone tells you I don't care about the challenges our communities face, they are either sadly misinformed or lying for their own political gain. The record is clear, and the video speaks for itself. I offered the amendment to save mothers and babies. The Annapolis Democrats lined up to defend the Governor’s bloated office.
@DefiyantlyFree The fight against communism never stopped, we just started losing the fight as they took over academia, media and local government.
Freedom and communism cannot coexist.
Communism must die.
The DOJ's deadline to charge Fauci for lying under oath about funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan is in 6 days. We can’t allow the statute of limitations to run out. He MUST be charged!
Agree? RT.
@michaelmiraflor These are not hot takes. These are basic observations of economics and psychology and reinforcement of why insane asylums were such important components of the 20th century feature that was known as a civil society.
@TheAliceSmith@elonmusk It is the numerical expression of freedom through the form of currency in the marketplace by way individuals assigning it as they see fit.
I welcome the Supreme Court's correct decision. The left has spent decades hiding their racial obsession behind the banner of civil rights. Today, that game ends.
Racial gerrymandering is not protection. It is the left's plantation politics repackaged with a law degree. The condescending assumption that Black Americans cannot compete without bureaucrats drawing lines around them is not compassion. It is racism with different branding. I am a Black man who has never needed the government to predetermine my outcome. Neither do the voters of this country.
The left claims to champion equality while demanding the government sort every American into a racial box. That is not a civil rights movement. That is a power grab dressed up as one. We cannot become a more perfect union if Democrats continue to treat race as a weapon and black voters as a captive constituency to be managed and mobilized.
Everyone who is a citizen of this great country should first and foremost be an AMERICAN. Regardless of race, religion, zip code, or income, we are all Americans and should be treated as such. The left has never believed that. Today's ruling says they no longer get to act like it.
Elon Musk turned down all shares when he left OpenAI because he believed nonprofits are not meant for self-enrichment.
"The reason I founded OpenAI was because I was concerned, based on my conversations with Larry Page, that he was not sufficiently concerned about the dangers of AI. At my birthday party, he, in front of a large group of people, called me a speciesist, for favoring humanity over computers. So after that, I was like, We got to have some counterbalance to Google, because Larry doesn't seem to care if humans make it or not.
So I thought, what's the opposite of Google? It would be an open source nonprofit, and that's where the word open, in OpenAI comes from. It means open source.
I provided all the money, recruited the key people, and taught them everything I know. I actually even got them to deal with Microsoft.
And for all that, I did not seek any financial reward whatsoever. The reason I actually took down the offer for shares is because, I mean, I felt like what are the shares, and why like nonprofits supposed to have shares? Nonprofits are not supposed to be self enrichment, so that's why I turned on the offer of shares."
