The vast majority of care homes have been doing an absolutely fantastic job of keeping people safe
During this crisis, our inspectors have contacted more than 80% of all providers to offer support, advice & guidance, including help accessing PPE & advice on infection control 1/3
@saralivadeas@BorisJohnson My thoughts exactly. All I have seen is care home managers speaking to each other trying to make sense of a situation where they have had no assistance. Guidance changing constantly.
@RussInCheshire@Fifino9 that does not seem right. The prescriber would have to review the medication but the pharmacy would then process the prescription. It depends where the drugs are manufactured I guess.
@daisyblue_1@RussInCheshire @dmobesocean yes they did that and the family carers have had no support either. Carehomes have had to manage on their own. The ones I work with have done a marvelous job through their own risk management measures and following the PHE guidance.
