@traintheteacher Used this reflection with my First Graders today. We have them each “promise” on a slip of paper and working in small groups asked them to rank the agreement points from 1-5. We then asked why had their thinking changed from August. Quite powerful.
OCT has done it for the last time. I am officially done with an organization that refuses to respond to emails or makes people sit on the phone for hours on hold. Waste of money and time. They make it impossible but scream for teachers. #Ontariocollegeofteachers#ryersonecealumni
This @jess_vanceEDU resource is so helpful! These question reminders are to be adhered to the backside of your staff badge/id card. The Qs are simple in their implementation yet sophisticated & powerful in their impact.

@trev_mackenzie@jess_vanceEDU Thanks heaps Trevor! @jess_vanceEDU I have only just begun my exploration of your site. The questions Trevor just shared were my first find. 👏👏👏🙏
@jess_vanceEDU I wrote the “I wonder question” in my notes in pink (tinkled pink for great ideas, green to grow for going forward), and highlighted it. Valuable point😊
I've been thinking about this quote a lot lately, especially as an #internationaschools educator & in relation to all the pedagogies that ask you to frontload before listening, observing,& learning from chdrn.#intled 1/
Thanks @trev_mackenzie and @jess_vanceEDU for a great reminder of the importance of (pre)questioning, being intentional with our learners, and having the courage to "yeah but" our peers to pivot their thinking. #inquirymindset
This young man is such an inspiration for inquiry learning. Curiosity, commitment, questioning and agency …. 👏👏👏 #inquirymindset https://t.co/HC8Hu268wH
Learning to construct word sums for the first time. It took a while for these Ss to decide they could use two plus signs -one between each morpheme. #wordinquiry@blackbanali
@ProLearnInt thank you for your time and passion over the last two weekends. Truly some inspiring and thought provoking lessons on concept based inquiry. Can’t waiting to keep learning about CBC. It was truly worth the 3:30 am alarm going off.
I love the idea of this! It’s a great connection to loose parts. Creations don’t necessarily need to be adhered together or to a base. I would almost use paper bags to create more mystery. The gallery could also be a Padlet. @kjinquiry #inquirymindset
