Anyone who has ever been part of an engineering team knows how impressive this is. And it has nothing to do with the physics or the manufacturing
"Product managers" and "Agile philosophy" has caused every eng planning discussion to be continual questions on scope.
How do we de-scope? How do we break this up? What is the MVP?
The de-scoped new Tesla Roadster would have been extremely successful and the best car on the market. But this is the Elon effect - he is a visionary.
Someone at some point said "No. Let's just build the really awesome thing. I don't care about scope"
The guy who fixed my fridge had investors trying to write him checks.
He's in his late 40s. Built a training bat to perfect your swing. Molds already made. Patent pending.

He launched two weeks ago. LFG

@TheCameronTeich I was raised to build incremental improvements - each generation building on the last. Doesnโt need to be a step change, but the minimum is a giving the next generation a better life + opportunity.
Honest question from a layman - does a spring back clause give them better terms too or just allows them to participate in the subsequent rounds? Is it that Day Oneโs participation would have caused those new strategic investors to back out entirely? Congrats to you and valarโs success ๐ซก
