Elon Musk's statement about needing to have pity for Russian conscripts is the ultimate act of cynicism and hypocrisy.
If Elon wants the war to stop and Russian conscripts not to die, the thing to do is help Ukraine win as quickly as possible, rather than forcing Ukraine to sacrifice itself.
A Ukrainian victory is the only way to save the lives of the Russians Musk sympathizes with so deeply.

A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.

I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Why isn’t the pressure on Putin to stop attacking Ukraine?

I don’t think @ZelenskyyUa is being unreasonable.

I fully support President Trump and I empathize with Amercians paying more for diesel, but you have to admit, Putin refusing to come to the table to sign a deal and his refusal to stop targeting civilians with ballistic missiles is abhorrent. Zelenskyy is trying to save his people from being slaughtered by a madman. Putin has been refusing to end this war that President Trump wants to end. Zelenskyy said he would stop bombing Russia but Putin won’t agree to stop bombing Ukraine.

How does that work?

At the end of the day, Vladimir Putin has killed more white, Christian European men and women than Al Baghdadi ever did.

That’s a fact. Putin is actually worse than ISIS.

President Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian fuel amidst Putin’s ongoing and brutal attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine makes no sense and is a betrayal of the legacy and leadership of the late Senator Lindsey Graham.

While Ukraine fights for its survival, Putin’s war machine continues to prosecute his terrorist war on civilian populations and innocent Ukrainians are dying every day.

Now, Instead of implementing the tough sanctions Lindsey Graham fought to his last breath to enact, President Trump has announced the United States is lifting sanctions on Russian energy, fueling the Putin’s war machine.

As I saw firsthand in Ukraine last month, Putin is losing this war. Ukraine has fought the Russian military to a standstill and reinvented warfare with drones taking the fight into the heart of Russia.

America should not be throwing a lifeline to Putin’s war machine. Now is the time to stand strong against Russian aggression as we did during the first Trump administration.

Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. I have no doubt that if Putin overruns Ukraine, it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him.

America is the Leader of the Free World. For our National Security, for the security of our Allies in Europe including Ukraine, President Trump should rescind this deal immediately and return to the strong policies of our four years in the White House; impose harsh sanctions on any nation purchasing Russian energy and work with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all. Even though the Games of the Future are not taking place in russia this year, war criminal russian president vladimir putin still recorded a video message for the tournament's participants.

This fact once again highlights that this tournament series, founded in russia, is not aimed at developing new sports. Its all about normalizing russia's reputation on the international stage. Terrorist state created and funds these competitions so russians cannot be disqualified or forced to compete under a neutral status. russia spends insane amounts of money to lure sports and esports stars for whom paycheck is more valuable than morals. And unfortunately, many agree to turn a blind eye to the daily crimes russia commits against Ukrainians and take part of this horrific propaganda show.

Does taking part here truly align with your values? Is participating in an event organized by ruthless, cold-blooded murderers just to sportswash their reputation really worth it? There is nothing more pathetic or contemptible than watching Russians launch what they thought would be a short splendid war to crush Ukraine in a matter of days, only to fail spectacularly in their blitzkrieg.

They wiped entire Ukrainian cities and regions off the face of the earth, committed an unimaginable number of war crimes, plunged Ukraine into darkness and freezing cold during the harshest winter on record, spent years bringing down apartment buildings with sleeping families inside night after night, destroyed supermarkets, children’s hospitals, theaters, and libraries, historic monuments, churches, and cathedrals, murdered people, beheaded and castrated prisoners of war on camera, executed and burned civilians, tortured them, and left mass graves behind.

And now they are hysterically wringing their hands and crying to the heavens because Ukraine is burning down warehouses full of Chinese junk meant for online sales.

“Why is this happening to us? How can there ever be peace with this Ukraine? They hate us!”

It has been a great honor to serve the Ukrainian people as the Minister of Defense.

Here is what our team managed to achieve:

1. Disabled Starlink access for Russian forces.

2. Took over a Ministry of Defense with zero budget, took a risk, reallocated funds from payroll from the end of the year, and effectively invested them in mid-strike capabilities, fiber-optic FPVs, low-cost reconnaissance, ground robotic platforms, interceptor drones, and deep-strike drones.

3. Launched "Logistical Lockdown", this cut off enemy logistics and initiated the isolation of Crimea.

4. Continued the funding program for the Drone Line.

5. Launched a support program for modern drone-assault units that rely primarily on advanced technologies in combat.

6. Introduced a 70% advance payment policy for procurements made via e-Points on the Brave1 Market portal.

7. Fundamentally overhauled the procurement system.

8. Procured thousands of pickup trucks, buggies, and ATVs for the military for the first time—and did so through open tenders.

9. The drone interception rate rose from 83% to 91%, and the cruise missile interception rate soared from 47% to 87%.

10. Contracted Patriot PAC-2 GEM-T missiles for the first time, and submitted an application through an EU loan to purchase PAC-3 missiles.

11. Launched a baseline drone supply system for brigades and corps.

12. Launched a massive grant program for manufacturers of explosives and missiles.

13. Initiated an unpopular but vital transformation of the military.

14. Conducted three UDCG meetings, where we successfully broke through the Russian information trap claiming our defeat, restoring partners' faith in Ukraine. This secured $40 billion in support announced for this year (excluding the EU loan).

15. Launched the mechanism to utilize the EU loan for our military priorities.

16. Found a way to scale cheap missiles against jet-powered Shaheds and signed a record-breaking contract.

17. Our domestic ballistics. We radically revised the technical specifications, maximized accuracy, and reduced the cost by 30%.

18. Signed a contract to procure Gripen fighter jets.

19. Collaborated with the military to plan and execute Operation Auchan, which halted the enemy's mechanized offensive for six months.

20. Opened up exports under the Drone Deal program to attract investment and scale up domestic defense-industrial complex (OPK) production.

21. Launched the Trophy Lab, providing partners with the opportunity to study captured Russian military technologies.

22. Launched the Defense AI Center A1 to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence on the battlefield.

Ciekawe, co by się stało, gdyby dzisiaj jakiś polski polityk oficjalnie przemówił do Ukraińców takimi słowami: „Przebaczamy wam Wołyń. I prosimy o przebaczenie za krzywdy, które my wyrządziliśmy wam — za akcję „Wisła”, za spalone cerkwie, za to, czego sami się dopuściliśmy".

Myślę, że w ciągu godziny zostałby zmiażdżony: „Zdrajca". „Agent Bandery". „Kto cię upoważnił, żebyś wybaczał w imieniu pomordowanych?". „Najpierw ekshumacje, najpierw niech oni nas przeproszą — a potem zobaczymy". Rozszarpano by tego człowieka na strzępy. Dla dzisiejszej prawicy taki gest jest po prostu nie do pomyślenia.

A przecież coś takiego się u nas wydarzyło w roku 1965.

Dwadzieścia lat po Auschwitz polscy biskupi napisali do biskupów niemieckich słynne „przebaczamy i prosimy o przebaczenie" — do Niemców, którzy wymordowali miliony Polaków.

Reakcja władzy była dokładnie taka, jaką przed chwilą sobie wyobraziliście. Gomułka nazwał gest pojednania „targowicą" i „świństwem". Premier Cyrankiewicz pisał oficjalnie, że żadne dokumenty biskupie nie wymażą hitlerowskich zbrodni. Na rezydencji arcybiskupa Kominka ktoś wymalował: „Zdrajca". Wybaczenie było dla komunistów dokładnie tym, czym wybaczenie Wołynia jest dziś dla prawicy — czymś niewyobrażalnym, równoznacznym ze zdradą.

Komuniści byli ateistami, więc można ich postawę zrozumieć. Dla marksisty wybaczenie nie jest wartością — to sentymentalna słabość. Ich niezdolność do przebaczenia była przynajmniej spójna z tym, w co wierzyli. Gomułka nie czytał wieczorem „Kazania na Górze” i nie udawał, że broni Ewangelii.

Prymas Wyszyński określał ich postawę jednym słowem: „spoganienie" — dodając z ulgą, że to spoganienie oficjalnej władzy, a nie narodu, który umie przebaczać. Sam wybaczył wprost „po chrześcijańsku, w duchu Ewangelii Chrystusowej, zgodnie z Modlitwą Pańską i nauką Soborową".

Komuniści wymachiwali czerwonym sztandarem — dzisiaj prawica wymachuje krzyżem i różańcem. Chce być przedmurzem chrześcijaństwa, obrońcą cywilizacji „zbudowanej na Ewangelii", przed bezbożnym liberalizmem. Ale jednocześnie wybaczenie Wołynia jest tak samo nie do pomyślenia, jak wybaczenie Niemcom dla Gomułki.

Ci sami ludzie codziennie odmawiają „Ojcze nasz". Codziennie mówią: „i odpuść nam nasze winy, jako i my odpuszczamy naszym winowajcom". Chrystus mówił: przebaczaj nie siedem razy, ale siedemdziesiąt siedem razy. Miłujcie nieprzyjaciół waszych. Całe chrześcijaństwo opiera się na krzyżu, który sam jest aktem przebaczenia — „Ojcze, przebacz im, bo nie wiedzą, co czynią". Ale nasi obrońcy krzyża uznali, że kiedy chodzi o nasz naród, o naszą ranę, to tak daleko akurat Ewangelia nie sięga.

Komuniści przynajmniej nie udawali. Nie wybaczali i nie twierdzili, że są chrześcijanami. Prezydent Nawrocki, chrześcijanin przecież, oraz jego towarzysze w wierze nie wybaczają, choć nazywają siebie obrońcami chrześcijaństwa. Według tak szanowanego przez nich Prymasa Tysiąclecia to „spoganienie”. Ale im jakoś to się klei.
