Pretty cool note I got from a tech CEO/founder who watched NCAAs about hiring wrestlers:
“I'll say this: without question my favorite hiring profile is a D3 All-American wrestler. You competed in the darkness. No lights, no crowd, sometimes literally no one watching. You showed up anyway and you figured it out. Give me 10 of those guys and they're worth 50 fancy Ivy League degrees. Every time. The mat doesn't lie.”
Thoughts?
With gratitude for where I have been and two years of eligibility remaining, I am officially in the NCAA Transfer Portal as a graduate transfer. Thankful for the support of my coaches, teammates, family, and friends.
Welcome home, Coach DeCosemo! 🫡
Rich in experience across Michigan's collegiate and developmental soccer scenes, DeCosemo takes the reins as the program's seventh head coach!

@WildcatNation_1@FriedmanSports It’s culture. Strategy used to be to recruit Chicago and the overlooked kids with a chip on their shoulders. Those kids stay loyal and less likely to portal out. Also how many former players kids are ending up successful elsewhere?
In a statement, Fitz says:
- Hazing did occur at Northwestern but he didn’t know about it.
- He doesn’t think NU had a right to terminate him.
- He settled primarily to relieve the stress of the suit on his family.
- He still loves Northwestern and is proud of his career.
Bryan Harlan, Pat Fitzgerald's agent: "It was a lengthy process, but we’re very, very satisfied with the terms of the settlement. Coach Fitzgerald is eager to resume his coaching career.”
Pat Fitzgerald and Northwestern have reached a settlement regarding Fitzgerald’s wrongful termination lawsuit against the university, sources tell @CBSSports.
Had been suing the university for $130 million.
After much consideration, I have decided to enter the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility left. I am a versatile fullback with a 3.75 GPA. I am grateful for my time at St. Bonaventure and am excited to see what is ahead!
