@unlearn16tweet I think the issue was that it was under grd 6 therefore the parents were not notified of lessons being earlier than this grade. I don’t see a problem with normalizing this from birth but that was one of the issues. Would love to see grade 1 and 2 beautiful interpretations too.

I wish more folks understood that the academic performance of kids in low-income communities is not a reflection of bad parenting, but rather a reflection of the structural barriers and inequities that these families face every day.
