So Almiron got tagged for the first ever World Cup VAR-reversed yellow for a clear dive and then got the first ever straight red for talking into his hand less than a week later. Do not associate with this man right now, he’s about to be hit in the face with a meteor.
thrilled with the result, but this was an opportunity to get McKenzie, Weah, and Wright significant minutes. I hope Paraguay gives us a little help tonight so we can get our bench players on the pitch in game three. #USMNT
#usmnt ok, third goal: upon dozens of viewings, I believe the vast majority of strikers would have flopped and tried for the penalty. Balogun fits this team so well because he refused to quit and scored in play.
@fiago7 It has everything a big city has, but in a small, walkable city. And as others said, the museums and monuments (all free!) are outstanding. And while some others mock the bureaucrats who live there, people well-versed in global affairs and dedicated to public service are nice.
@fiago7@JimmysSeafood as a Marylander, I am embarrassed I forgot to say Baltimore (and the greater Chesapeake Bay). you do need to have not just crab cakes, but Maryland Blue Crab crab cakes.
@fiago7 if you're a city boy, go south (Philadelphia, Washington DC, Richmond). if you're a country boy, go north and hit Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and the Canadian maritimes.
@AmericanOutlaws and I'll bet that guy has never criticized Italians for calling it calcio. nor the Canadians or Australians for also calling it soccer. he's a troll.
Truly incredible stuff here. This is such an egregious error for the A section of the NYT (not a typo, genuinely not knowing what NATO stands for) that it should lead every piece on the decline in journalism
SAGINT is thrilled to announce our latest news: “Former U.S. Ambassador and Architect of America’s Africa Commercial Diplomacy Strategy Named Chief Executive Officer of SAGINT International“.

@Patiricye@_hudsonc Forgive me if this double posts. LinkedIn is acting strangely. But in June we were all working together. This original post was about the Washington Accords six months later.
