Around 1600 BC, Argus, son of Agenor, son of Ecbasus, son of Argus, son of Niobe, daughter of Phoroneus, lived in Mycenae.
This was 400 years before Agamemnon ascended the throne as King of Mycenae.

Thinking a lot about pilgrimage. Thought I knew all Donne’s stuff but came across this Holy Sonnet last night and it’s tremendous. Obvs there’s the grim reference to pilgrimage in Donne’s ‘Go and catch a falling star’ too. What other literary works reference pilgrims/pilgrimage?
Ok so I was initially quite worried about the Curriculum and Assessment review, but this is great. Nuanced, sensible, robust, respectful and reasonable.
