(1/4) My Sister-in-Law, Trillian Clifford (@teachertrillian), and her baby, Alma, are caught up in the violet civil war that has broken out in Khartoum, Sudan. The fighting has greatly intensified as both the Sudanese Army and the RSV are hunting each other through the streets.

Welcome to the world, Alma! My daughter was born Sept. 22nd ❤️No classroom content for now as I’ve taken a year off to spend with this gorgeous baby. She and I will be back to traveling and teaching in fall ‘22. Until then, I am soaking up the cuddles!
